“Ricky Leroy Brown delivers a mysterious and mesmerizing performance in his latest release ”SEXUAL MANUAL FOR EXPERTS". The song takes you on a funky and groovy sonic journey that will leave you feeling comfortable." -Muse Chronicle
“The morally reprehensible is celebrated as a source of pleasure (”that's my kink!"). In this sense, music and desire are associated with the forbidden: “Music is a crime” - here, both the sexual act and the music become a crime because of the pleasure they evoke. Sex becomes an experience of freedom, a celebration against traditional structures such as marriage or authority." -Revista Soundloop

"It's almost certain that, at least today, you won't hear anything more energetic than this latest single from Ricky Leroy Brown, who is practically a Latin American Johnny Depp (laughs). Yes, because “The Redhead Blues” is a song full of power, which is also accompanied by an entertaining video. Fun, by the way, is exactly what the artist's music conveys. With an intense, danceable and dynamic rhythm, the track follows the paths of pop-rock with a touch of power-pop, making it a classic. Everything is well structured with an organic production that enhances the composition, which still has traces of rockabilly." -RoadieMusic
“The text doesn't mince its words - blunt yet poetic, laced with bitterness and longing: ”She left me stranded in a storm of her own creation / With a love too wild to tame and a heart too quick to hold." With his words, Brown conjures up the image of his red-haired muse - fiery, unpredictable, intoxicating - and allows both the narrator and the listener to fall under her spell. The song vacillates between longing and resentment, caught between the desire to move on and the inability to forget. No great blues song is complete without a stunning guitar solo, and Brown delivers one that is as heartbreaking as it is masterful. Midway through the track, the instrumentation pulls back, leaving only the slow, measured strumming of his guitar, before he unleashes a solo that is simply devastating." -MusicGalaxy

"Overall, it's a song with a beautiful vocal line and a series of synthesizer melodies that are easy to follow yet sophisticated, with little details that will captivate you and keep you interested. The story behind the song and the entire project with its accompanying music video will also keep you engaged throughout, so buckle up and prepare yourself for the amazing journey this project will take you on." -Rockeramagazine
“What was the creative process for this particular ”LUXURIA"? The concept was to create a musical world based on the saying “two sides of the same coin”. Both songs are about love, but “Luxuria” is about falling in love and “Cor Dolor” is about heartbreak. Also as far as the artists are concerned, I (Ricky) am the other side of Lucia and vice versa. Were there any challenges or breakthrough moments during the songwriting process for “LUXURIA”? I have to be honest. “Luxuria” was a very easy EP to write because I knew what Lucia was capable of, and I had the entire track in my head long before production. When she finally came into the studio, we finished the songs in maybe two to three hours." -Musicforall
